Your voice belongs here
Discover sound healing from the inside with the voice-first meditation experience that welcomes everyone. No musical experience necessary—just show up and sing!
Most of us don’t use our voices nearly enough—
But it’s one of the most powerful tools we have for healing, expression, and transformation.
When we hum or tone with intention (even for just a few minutes) we quiet our minds, balance our bodies, and deepen our presence in the moment. And that’s just on our own! In welcoming community, we amplify these benefits through shared focus, harmonic vibration, and social support. It’s not about your vocal technique or performance. It’s about exploring your unique frequency as a personal freeway to expanded consciousness. All you need is a little curiosity and an open heart.

What's improvised vocal toning?
It’s the free-form practice of sustaining sound on a hum or open vowel. Similar to chant or mantra, when paired with intention, vocal toning becomes a powerful conscious tool with far-reaching physical, mental, and emotional benefits. But in a group vocal meditation practice, all sound is improvised, so there’s no music to learn, no lyrics to memorize, and nothing to perform.
What to expect
Gentle somatic warmups and breathwork
Group toning and improvisational harmonizing
A welcoming, no-judgment environment
Physical, mental, and emotional support through sound
Moments of mindful silence and reflection
Time to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with others
What to bring
We often sit on the floor for most of the practice, so feel free to bring your favorite cushion, zafu, or anything else that helps you sit comfortably. Chairs will also be available. A water bottle is a great idea, too—your vocal cords will thank you!
Bring Tone Circle Seattle to your org and discover the power of shared sound to create calm, increase confidence, and empower authentic connection.
